WISH RIDERS
By Patrick Jennings, hardcover, 276 pages, NEW condition.
Dusty's mother has died, her father long gone. She's become a ward of the
state, assigned to a logging camp where the hours are long, and the work
hard. One day, a seagull drops some strange seeds into Dusty's hand. She
plants the seeds, and marvelous GREEN horses grow. All summer, Dusty
spends what little free time she has riding her green mount. Of course, all
good things must come to an end, as does Dusty's horse in the fall. There IS
a happy ending, though. Dusty's father, who has been away at sea, finds her,
and takes her to his home, forever. Written for the teens, but readable by
anybody.
